Note: this deck doesn't actually have an offical name. I have named it here after the writer of the book and the artist merely as a matter of convenience. This interesting deck comes in a nice slipcase with a hardcover companion book. The book has some interesting insights and is far more than the remedial reading I thought it would be. The art on the cards is lovely, reminding me of some European animations I've seen. The Minor Arcana are very minimalist. At first I was concerned about this, as I was used to reading the images on the cards. But I came to see this aspect of the deck as a useful tool to better learning the meanings of the cards. This deck would be perfect for all-ages events where hosts may want to avoid certain imagery for the sake of younger people.
