The Steampunk Tarot

Steampunk is a sub-genre of science fiction that asks what could have been, regarding technological developments of the past. And, as science fiction tends to do, it also looks forward and asks what might be. This specific Steampunk deck (there are some others) works a whole fictional world into the tarot, renaming many of the cards and all of the suits of the Minor Arcana. Nothing is lost, however, in the new names. But quite a bit of insight and nuance is gained when looking at the cards through steam goggles.
