I love the Goth aesthetic and horror fiction. Therefore it's a little strange that I, for the longest time, could not find a Goth or horror themed deck that really "sang" to me. Often I would appreciate and even genuinely love the artwork, but it just didn't do anything for me as Tarot. Then I found this wonderful deck on Etsy. I not only found the art beautiful, but loved the order that the artist brought to the concept. The Major Arcana goes around different areas of horror fiction and includes a young girl (whom I like to call the Carol Anne of the deck) as part of the Fool's journey. The Minor Arcana assigns specific archetypes to specific suits. Witches for Staves (Wands). Vampires for Cups. Abominations (monsters and demons) for Pentacles. And Monster Hunters for Swords.
