Death in the Tarot, as many a reader has to explain to clients, is about change. For the Ghost deck, it is a border between "unrefined materialism" and an invisible world. Here is a deck that reexamines the symbols of the Tarot through the eyes of those who straddle that border, both the living and the dead. Each card has a deeper nuance to its meaning as we wonder who is encroaching on whose world; and possibly reconsider our usual definitions of "life" and "death."
